This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Administration of post-award contracts, including the timely and accurate preparation of payment applications and invoices, ensuring full contract entitlements and a clear understanding of the delivery scope by the contract management team, with change reflected in contract variations/amendments. Commercial administration files are to be established and maintained while all correspondence is properly documented.
• Timely delivery of commercial and contract-related documents such as bonds, PCGs, evidence of insurance, and requisite reporting.
• Development, implementation, and maintenance of commercial plans for projects, encompassing commercial strategy, subcontracting commercial strategy, and profit enhancement plans.
• Conducting regular cost analyses to: i) maximize recoverable costs, ii) minimize non-reimbursable costs, iii) identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and iv) ensure sufficient cost accruals and provisions are established.
• Ensure that all commercial-related Delegation of Authority (DOA) matters are accurately approved and documented.
• Preparation of project cash flow forecasts, management of expenditures, preparation of invoices, and facilitation of payments in alignment with client contract requirements for UI processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Supply Chain, and other necessary functions to develop a Subcontracting commercial strategy.
• Preparation and analysis of contributions to key contract and internal project reporting requirements, along with participation in internal project reviews.
• Formulating accurate project forecasts in collaboration with the project team.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies, along with an appropriate professional qualification (preferred).
• Significant demonstrated experience in a Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Senior QS role, preferably acquired in a transmission and distribution overhead lines environment, although this is not essential.
• Proficient understanding of NEC contracts.
• Familiarity with all relevant corporate and project procedures.
• Verified experience in contract administration, including change management.
