Senior Quantitative Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Lead the research process from initial concept to final execution.

• Examine the cryptocurrency ecosystems to reveal the fundamental factors influencing price and risk development.

• Apply advanced statistical methods to both traditional and cryptocurrency-specific data sets.

• Develop and improve monetisation strategies for trading signals and other market irregularities.

• Execute, backtest, and implement algorithmic trading strategies in a live trading context.

• Track real-time strategy effectiveness and incorporate findings into the research cycle.

• Contribute to shaping our research agenda based on findings and innovative ideas.

• Possess an advanced degree in a highly quantitative discipline.

• Exhibit excellent analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail; maintain a practical approach.

• Have a strong interest in both traditional and cryptocurrency markets; motivated to model the underlying market behaviors.

• Capable of conducting data-driven research aimed at addressing real-world challenges.

• Committed to lifelong learning and making a difference; open to challenging existing norms.

• Proficient in summarising and clearly communicating research findings.

• Previous experience in quantitative research (preferably in digital assets).

• Skilled in Python and familiar with using statistical packages.
