Research Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy for insights. Develop frameworks that transform complex data and psychological science into actionable insights for our products and partners.

• Take ownership of the journey from science to practice. Gather information from research, design the data architecture and measurement models, and ensure findings are implemented in products and partnerships.

• Commercialize research efforts. Extend work beyond experimental phases into product features, reporting frameworks, and go-to-market strategies that provide measurable benefits.

• Collaborate with partners. Engage directly with significant client organizations to link our product to their outcomes and utilize behavioral science to enhance decision-making and employee performance.

• Influence cross-functionally. Serve as the trusted intermediary among research, product, and go-to-market teams, shaping how the organization generates and applies insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD or equivalent depth of knowledge in industrial-organizational psychology, behavioral or decision science, labor economics, or a related area.

• Proven experience in applied research that has positively influenced a product, decision, or business outcome — not just a publication record.

• Strong quantitative and measurement skills: experience in survey and instrument design, psychometrics, causal and quasi-experimental methods, and comfort with complex, real-world data.

• The ability to consult senior stakeholders and partners credibly, along with strong writing skills to effectively communicate rigorous work to a CHRO or CFO.

• A proactive ownership mindset. You thrive on tackling ambiguous, integrative challenges and drive them to deliver impact without waiting for guidance.

• Extra Credit: In-depth knowledge in compensation, total rewards, or pay equity.
