Research Scientist – Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct focused literature reviews, distilling findings into concise scientific summaries and evidence tables.

• Create interview guides and analysis plans under the mentorship of senior scientists.

• Execute qualitative coding and thematic analysis or quantitative analyses utilizing established methodologies.

• Write sections of study protocols, reports, manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and deliverables for clients.

• Aid in the interpretation of study results and participate in scientific discussions within project teams.

• Maintain scientific integrity and compliance with established research methodologies and quality standards.

• Develop knowledge in patient-centered outcomes research methodologies, client engagement, and consulting practices.

• Engage in internal initiatives aimed at enhancing scientific methods, operational effectiveness, and knowledge sharing.

• Enhance communication and consulting skills through increasing levels of responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Outcomes, Psychology, Sociology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, or a related field.

• Relevant internship, graduate research assistantship, or consulting experience is preferred.

• Basic understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies.

• Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills.

• Capability to synthesize scientific literature and convey findings effectively.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities with the skill to manage multiple priorities at once.

• Proven attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

• Ability to coordinate project activities while adhering to timelines and quality standards.

• Collaborative mindset with the capability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with statistical or qualitative analysis software is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Python and AI-driven analytical techniques for data management, analysis, and visualization.

• Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

• Capable of independently delivering assigned work products with minimal supervision while appropriately seeking guidance on complex issues.
