Senior Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Test Automation & Framework Development: Create, implement, and sustain test automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Robot Framework.

• Develop test scripts using Robot Framework or other scripting utilities.

• Employ programming languages like Python to build solid automated test cases.

• Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.

• Manual & Functional Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing where automation is not feasible.

• Collaborate with team members for cross-functional and cross-product testing initiatives.

• Identify and document bugs utilizing Jira, Xray, or similar platforms.

• Team Collaboration & Education: Engage the team in quality initiatives and provide education on testing best practices.

• Work closely with a dedicated product team to set long-term quality objectives.

• Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD): Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab or similar.

• Integrate automated testing into build pipelines to ensure ongoing quality assessments.

• Specialized Testing Expertise: Execute API testing using tools such as Postman.

• Domain Expertise: Maintain quality in domain-specific platforms like Salesforce and work on applications with intricate integrations and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in test automation methodologies and tools.

• Practical experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, and scripting tools.

• Proficient in English (B2 or higher) for effective communication.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Skilled in version control systems such as Git and development environments like VS Code.

• Strong proficiency in designing test scenarios, reporting bugs, and executing functional tests.

• Completed Bachelor’s degree.
