Senior Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for quality from the acceptance criteria of stories to the monitoring of production health.

• Develop, sustain, and execute automated testing frameworks and regression suites across UI, API, and service layers.

• Test and validate both internally developed LLMs and external AI tools and services.

• Manage test planning, execution, and release support from story validation to production deployment.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design to translate ambiguous requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria.

• Champion quality by providing technical leadership, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with mid-level quality engineers.

• Implement best practices for defect tracking, triage, and communication.

• Leverage AI tools for detecting, reproducing, and resolving issues.

• Highlight release risks and defect trends to stakeholders and assist with production escalations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software testing and QA experience in an Agile Scrum environment.

• More than 5 years of experience in building test frameworks using TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.

• Practical experience with WebdriverIO or Playwright.

• Proficient in manual, exploratory, regression, integration, API/services, and database testing.

• Knowledge of Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, and incremental CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot in daily operations.

• Ability to actively engage in Scrum ceremonies, communicate release risks and defect trends, and support production escalations.

• Industry experience in EdTech, SaaS/B2B software, or e-learning/online education platforms.

• Familiarity with Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Selenium for end-to-end browser automation.

• Experience with Jest, Vitest, or Mocha for unit/integration testing.

• Proficient with k6, JMeter, or Locust.

• Experience with GitHub Actions and AWS.

• Familiarity with Datadog, Sentry, or New Relic for logs/error tracking.

• Experience with TestRail, Jira, Xray, or Zephyr for test management.

• Successful completion of a background check as part of the pre-employment process.

• Preferred: experience in testing AI-driven features, LLM outputs, or ML-backed services.

• Preferred: knowledge of performance and accessibility testing.

• Preferred: experience with AWS, GCP, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

• Preferred: previous experience in EdTech or consumer-facing SaaS products.
