Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Trading

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Establish and enhance QA standards, release criteria, and quality metrics specifically tailored for a trading platform.

• Create, develop, and uphold a scalable end-to-end automation framework for the web application, addressing essential user journeys.

• Produce thorough automated tests for backend services and APIs.

• Confirm the accuracy of execution paths, price impact, and fee calculations across various trading pairs and liquidity sources.

• Lead API-level load and stress testing for scenarios requiring high throughput.

• Construct dependable test environments and datasets (whether mocked or involving real blockchain interactions), ensuring the repeatability of end-to-end and API tests.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to establish testable acceptance criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in QA for web or fintech products, with at least 2 years dedicated to test automation and end-to-end testing.

• Extensive experience in building and maintaining end-to-end test frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools).

• Strong background in API testing and automation (REST, JSON-RPC, or equivalent).

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience in testing complex transactional or financial systems.

• Solid understanding of trading concepts, including slippage, liquidity, routing paths, and execution flow.

• Proven experience in designing stable, maintainable automated test suites (including CI integration and reducing flakiness).
