Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain scalable automated testing suites for both API and UI layers.

• Work alongside QA and development teams to define and execute testing strategies.

• Ensure the integration of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline to enhance efficiency and speed up delivery.

• Participate in load, stress, and endurance testing to assess system performance and scalability.

• Help identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams on resolution strategies.

• Examine test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and generate actionable defect reports.

• Validate software to guarantee it meets requirements and upholds high-quality standards.

• Conduct manual testing in scenarios where automation is unsuitable.

• Foster consistency in testing practices across a diverse array of development teams.

• Suggest enhancements to automation, testing processes, and overall quality methodologies.

• Guide team members in automation development, design patterns, testing strategies, and best practices.

• Offer technical leadership in creating maintainable, scalable, and reusable testing frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in an Agile, highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing API and UI test automation solutions.

• Practical experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, etc.).

• Background in contributing to load/performance testing initiatives (e.g., JMeter, k6, Gatling).

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript.

• Deep understanding of web and browser technologies.

• BS and/or MS in a technical field (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred).
