Penetration Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• The Penetration Tester will report directly to the Senior Manager of Network and Strategic Penetration Testing and will support security testing initiatives for BMO's network, cloud, and AI technologies.

• Responsible for carrying out and coordinating ethical hacking efforts to uncover vulnerabilities and identify areas needing enhancement.

• Aids in the execution of security testing projects following a structured methodology, which includes the preparation of test reports.

• Contributes to the performance of complex technical and analytical security evaluations of Active Directory setups, network infrastructure, cloud environments, and AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Manual Penetration Testing for Networks and Cloud Environments.

• Strong expertise with security testing tools and penetration testing Linux distributions, such as Kali.

• Preference will be given to candidates holding at least one certification in a relevant field.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language is required.

• Capability to document reproducible steps for technically accurate findings.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey intricate technical insights to a non-technical audience.
