Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• You will identify and manage risks associated with the development activities and the scope of testing, including risks related to data.

• You will apply "Lean change management" to facilitate the adoption of agile practices and test automation within teams.

• You will actively engage with development guidelines as well as those from SRE and architecture to establish a foundation for improving quality strategies.

• You will identify performance issues early in the development stage concerning the architectural design of solutions.

• You will ensure non-functional requirements for performance (CPU, latency) are met.

• You will stay informed about the latest technologies in automation and performance.

• You will configure the automated execution process in CI/CD/CT.

• You will identify and provide feedback on the definition of acceptance criteria for quality attributes.

• You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure regarding engineering, design, and performance testing.

• You will identify bottlenecks and adjustment points to enhance the scalability and performance of applications within software architectures.

• You will create performance testing reports and share them with the team to develop action plans based on the results obtained.

⛳️ Requirements

• Your academic background is technological or you are a seventh-semester student in software development or related fields.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality processes (Karate - Playwright).

• Proven experience in automation and quality processes.

• Software quality expertise applying the ISTQB framework and non-functional quality attributes.
