QA Tester, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Conducting exploratory testing on current app features and reporting on functional, UI, and UX issues as directed by the Product Lead.

• Testing newly implemented features and enhancements prior to their release.

• Evaluating features and retesting corrections in release versions while preparing for new app launches.

• Reproducing bugs and collecting pertinent information to assist developers in diagnosing the problem, including reproduction steps, screenshots, screen recordings, device specifications, and comparisons of expected versus actual behavior.

• Collaborating with QA automation engineers to ensure that manually identified bugs are considered for automation where applicable.

• Occasionally reviewing the website, Apple App Store, and Google Play product pages to ensure there are no apparent issues.

• Assessing product requirements for new features from a user standpoint and highlighting any aspects that seem unclear, confusing, or challenging to use.

• Documenting the functionality of features within the app based on practical exploration and testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in manual QA, product testing, app testing, or a strong interest in advancing in this field.

• Must be a proficient user of mobile messenger applications; experience with crypto wallets and mobile browsers is a significant advantage.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies, bugs, or perplexing user flows.

• Strong written communication skills and the capability to document issues in an organized manner.

• A user-centric approach and eagerness to test features from the perspective of actual users.

• Comfort with using and testing both mobile and desktop applications.

• Ability to adhere to testing guidelines, ask insightful questions, and collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and QA teams.

• An inquisitive nature regarding the use of AI in manual and semi-manual testing to enhance efficiency and minimize repetitive QA tasks.
