Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement both manual and automated test cases for functional and regression testing.

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure the quality of features before and after their release.

• Create, maintain, and enhance Playwright test scripts to achieve comprehensive end-to-end coverage.

• Engage in sprint planning and provide insights on test scope, risks, and acceptance criteria.

• Assess and assist in the integration of cross-browser/device testing tools such as BrowserStack, LambdaTest, and Sauce Labs.

• Log, monitor, and document bugs and test results using collaboration tools like Jira, Linear, or similar platforms.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA processes and testing standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in QA or software testing, preferably within an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Strong grasp of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

• Practical experience with Playwright or comparable automation frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.

• Proficient in writing and debugging automated tests using JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience in API testing with tools like Postman or REST Assured, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and inquisitive — you take pleasure in identifying issues to enhance quality.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across different time zones.
