Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a thorough QA strategy that aligns with product and engineering objectives across various systems and releases.

• Create testing frameworks, processes, and best practices, prioritizing automation and continuous enhancement.

• Promote the use of contemporary testing tools such as Playwright or similar frameworks; manage test automation within CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure quality across applications, encompassing API, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Recruit, mentor, and advance QA professionals; cultivate a culture of accountability, ownership, and technical development.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Identify quality risks at early stages, communicate effectively with leadership, and provide clear metrics regarding product quality and readiness for release.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software quality assurance, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.

• Demonstrated experience in establishing or scaling QA functions within a product or systems-focused environment.

• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar).

• Experience in testing applications developed on the .NET Framework.

• Comprehensive knowledge of integration testing and system-level validation.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

• Experience in or with GovTech is preferred.
