Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Participating in a Scrum Squad comprising 3-4 Developers and 1 Automation QA.

• Adhering to and upholding established QA best practices within the team.

• Collaborating with the Product Owner and the Squad to enhance Stories and Acceptance Criteria, including those for AI-driven features.

• Working with the squad to design and assess test scenarios and create C# Integration Tests, React tests using Playwright, Contract Tests (Pact), and UI Functional Tests in C# with Playwright.

• Quickly pinpointing high-level test strategies and quality risks, particularly those specific to AI/ML systems (e.g., hallucination, drift, latency).

• Monitoring and reporting on quality trends such as bug churn.

• Utilizing AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI test generation tools) to expedite test authoring and analysis.

• Analyzing results from automation test runs.

• Complying with established coding standards and practices.

• Engaging in a culture of code reviews and technical collaboration.

• Attending squad meetings, including daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Planning, Refinements, and technical discussions.

• Participating in presentations and coding workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.

• Proficiency in C# .Net/Net Core for at least 3 years.

• Knowledge of Typescript.

• Experience in API Integration Testing that supports regular production releases.

• Familiarity with Functional UI Testing using Playwright.

• Strong foundation in testing principles, including test design, defect management, and a keen attention to detail.

• Comprehension of object-oriented programming (OOP) and S.O.L.I.D principles.

• Experience working within a Scrum framework and in an agile development environment.

• Understanding of CI/CD processes that facilitate automated testing.

• Proven experience using AI tools in daily engineering tasks (e.g., AI-assisted coding, test generation, or analysis).
