Security Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, optimize, and sustain robust Python scripts for tailored RESTful API integrations.

• Design and manage databases for the storage, retrieval, and transition of threat intelligence and alert data.

• Utilize Git and GitHub for managing code repositories and ensuring structured version control.

• Create, implement, and troubleshoot automation playbooks using Google SecOps SOAR.

• Act as the primary technical resource for SOC analysts.

• Work collaboratively with internal security engineering leadership to enhance processes.

• Generate and maintain documentation for custom integrations and database schemas.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in security engineering or security operations.

• Strong foundation in Python development.

• Highly skilled in working with RESTful APIs.

• Experience in parsing intricate JSON structures.

• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.

• Proven experience with Git and GitHub (branching, merging, pull requests).

• Willingness and capability to quickly learn Google SecOps SOAR.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with SOC analysts.
