This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop test coverage and scenarios prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure that solutions effectively resolve actual customer issues, rather than merely adhering to feature specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Clarify requirements, identify potential gaps early on, and establish acceptance criteria.
• Convert business and data requirements from User Requirement Documents (URDs), Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), and product/design specifications into comprehensive test plans.
• Advise on what should be automated and the rationale behind it in conjunction with Automation Developers.
• Examine automation failures and follow up on their outcomes.
• Identify testing gaps and set priorities accordingly.
• Collaborate with Delivery leadership and stakeholders to align testing priorities and coverage with client needs.
• Manage tactical bug triage and coordination during UAT.
• Serve as the primary contact for issues reported by clients.
• Review and execute tests utilizing test management tools.
• Provide feedback to the project team on the suitability of automation.
• Create pre-UAT test coverage and scenarios, and independently conduct coverage assessments.
• Contribute to the test strategy and decisions regarding end-to-end coverage.
• Over 5 years of QA experience in a Senior Quality role.
• Proven experience in testing SaaS/cloud applications.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire SDLC and the role of Quality Engineering within development.
• Strong background in end-to-end and functional testing.
• Ability to assess solutions from a customer's perspective.
• Skills in cross-module investigations and root-cause analysis across various systems or teams.
• Experience in tactically coordinating testing during Pre-UAT/UAT, including ticketing, status reporting, and resolution tracking.
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman (essential).
• Capability to review automation run results and troubleshoot failures, including CI/CD pipeline processes such as GitHub Actions.
• Agile fluency and comfort with rapid release cycles.
• Extensive experience working with PRDs.
• Openness to incorporating AI tools into daily tasks.
• Candidates must reside in Canada.
• Preference for Eastern Time working hours.
• Successful completion of background, criminal, and reference checks is required before an offer is extended.
