Senior Quality Analyst – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement test automation scripts;

• Identify, log, thoroughly document, and track defects;

• Investigate the root causes of software discrepancies;

• Monitor quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts;

• Collaborate on training and upskilling initiatives related to quality practices with the team to enhance team performance and project success;

• Contribute to decisions on software test architecture and strategy, aiming for a distributed, flexible, modern, and scalable architecture to support continuous growth;

• Ensure adherence to quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle;

• Serve as an advocate for the agile mindset within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team;

• Desire for self-improvement;

• Knowledge of log monitoring;

• Experience in creating and documenting manual tests (test cases, smoke tests, regression tests, etc.), along with manual and exploratory testing;

• Proficiency in back-end and front-end testing, including APIs and/or Web services;

• Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD);

• Test scenario setup and defect (bug) workflow management;

• Knowledge of Postman, Cypress (JavaScript), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), and Git (Bitbucket);

• Over 7 years of experience.
