Senior QA Tester – Proyecto Fondos Corporativos

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Review BRD/FRD during the analysis phase.

• Identify functional gaps and generate business questions.

• Develop the testing strategy.

• Design test cases during the build phase.

• Create the traceability matrix.

• Prepare test data.

• Validate APIs.

• Execute functional and integration tests.

• Conduct UAT and manage defects.

• Assess risks during the release process.

• Prepare the quality report.

• Recommend Go / No-Go for each release.

• Collaborate with business, development, architects, and operational users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in software QA.

• Experience in integration testing.

• Experience in validating financial calculations.

• Experience in testing REST APIs.

• Preferably experience in financial projects: banking, investment funds, loans, savings banks, fintech, or accounting systems.

• Desirable experience in investment funds, loan systems, and financial reconciliations.

• Desirable experience with STP, SIIF, or equivalent systems.

• Knowledge of Test Planning & Strategy, Test Cases, RTM, Smoke, Regression, UAT, Risk-Based Testing, and defect management.

• Use of AI applied to test automation and documentation.

• Proficient in Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Ability to query SQL Server directly using Select.

• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Postman, Swagger, SQL Server Management Studio, and Excel at an intermediate/advanced level.

• Knowledge of loans: principal, interest, simple and compound interest, fixed and variable rates, TIIE, amortization, and refinancing.

• Knowledge of funds: shares, securities, settlement, and bridge funds.

• Knowledge of accounting: debits, credits, reconciliation, balances, historical movements, and traceability.

• Ability to identify inconsistencies in requirements and define testing strategies for financial projects.

• Capacity to challenge requirements, identify risks, and facilitate sessions with the business.

• Strong communication with developers, architects, and operational users.

• Sufficient English proficiency for communication with English-speaking teams.
