Senior QA Manual Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual functional and integration testing for web applications and internal products.

• Evaluate marketing landing pages that involve intricate business logic and integrations.

• Test multi-channel customer communication products across various platforms including email, web-push, app-push, SMS, and in-app channels.

• Verify integrations with both internal company services and external systems.

• Develop and maintain test plans and documentation that align with business and technical specifications.

• Identify, document, reproduce, and monitor defects.

• Analyze logs, troubleshoot problems, and assist in incident investigations alongside development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in manual functional and integration testing for web applications.

• Familiarity with frontend and backend testing methodologies.

• Background in testing marketing landing pages, multi-channel communication products, and web integrations.

• Solid understanding of HTTP methods, request/response structures, and status codes.

• Practical experience with Postman, curl, and traffic inspection tools like Charles or Fiddler.

• Proficient in analyzing logs and troubleshooting issues using tools such as Loki or Kibana.

• SQL knowledge sufficient for writing queries, searching data, and validating database records.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Capable of creating and maintaining test documentation, test plans, and test cases.

• Familiarity with test management systems like TestRail, TestIT, or similar platforms.

• Strong communication skills in both Russian and English, written and verbal.
