This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

• Performing quality assurance assessments and conducting process audits.

• Creating and executing testing strategies for various projects.

• Overseeing manual QA tasks within development teams.

• Developing and managing processes related to the defect lifecycle.

• Gathering and monitoring product quality metrics.

• Identifying opportunities for process enhancements to improve testing efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive background in manual QA tasks across various project types and sectors.

• Proven experience in conducting QA assessments, performing process audits, and pinpointing areas for improvement.

• Capability to create and implement testing strategies that align with the project's context and lifecycle.

• Proficient in coordinating and organizing manual QA activities within development teams to ensure effective and structured testing.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the role of QA within it.

• Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and familiarity with non-functional testing aspects (e.g., performance, usability, security).

• Responsible for designing and managing defect lifecycle processes, conducting root cause analyses, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.

• Defines, gathers, and monitors product quality metrics to assess and communicate progress.

• Actively seeks out process enhancements to boost testing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Experienced in manual API testing using tools such as Swagger, Postman, or equivalent solutions.

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines; capable of operating in pre-configured environments and integrating QA activities into delivery workflows.

• Ability to incorporate Generative AI into QA processes, with experience using tools like Claude, Codex, Copilot, or similar.
