This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products, users, workflows, data flows, and client requirements.
• Ensure high-quality outcomes from the perspectives of end-users, client impact, and data integrity.
• Implement shift-left quality practices by collaborating early with Engineering, Product, Data, and UX teams to pinpoint risks, clarify requirements, enhance testability, and shape validation strategies prior to implementation.
• Establish quality expectations, validation methods, and release readiness indicators throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Validate data across its entire lifecycle, from source systems through transformation to final reporting and visualization layers.
• Confirm that data is accurate, complete, current, and aligned with business expectations.
• Develop and sustain scalable automated testing using Playwright, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and TestRail.
• Contribute to validation strategies at the UI, API, data, and system levels.
• Leverage tools like ChatGPT, Claude Code, and similar technologies throughout the QA lifecycle to enhance test design, speed up automation, and minimize repetitive manual tasks.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual and repetitive QA tasks using AI-assisted workflows or agents.
• Employ risk-based thinking to prioritize issues, inform release decisions, and bolster confidence in quality signals.
• Guide others in shift-left quality assurance, automation, data validation, and AI-enhanced QA practices.
• Over 6 years of experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright or similar modern automation frameworks.
• Proficient with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and TestRail or comparable tools.
• In-depth experience with shift-left quality practices, including early engagement in requirements, design, and validation planning.
• Strong background in data validation, encompassing the validation of data from source through transformation to final reporting or visualization layers.
• Experience in verifying data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to business rules.
• Familiarity with observability or monitoring signals to evaluate whether systems and data are functioning as anticipated.
• Versatile experience across multiple testing domains, including UI, API, data validation, or platform/system testing.
• Proven ability to enhance automation reliability, reduce flaky tests, and increase confidence in automated quality indicators.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, or similar technologies to optimize workflows and diminish manual effort.
• Strong comprehension of regression strategies, defect triage, and release readiness.
• Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a proactive attitude toward risk management.
