Senior QA Engineer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uzbekistan.

📋 Description

• Oversee the quality assurance of business features from the point of technical hand-off to a successful production release.

• Analyze specifications, develop test plans, and formulate detailed test cases and checklists.

• Assess testing tasks and adhere to established deadlines.

• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end API testing on both real devices and emulators.

• Create, maintain, and enhance UI and API test automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate essential user workflows and handle test data setup and teardown.

• Keep test documentation up to date and conduct code reviews.

• Collaborate with Product, Mobile, Back-End engineers, and Architects.

• Assist with App Store and Google Play releases by managing builds, deep links, pre-release validation, and monitoring live performance and crashes.

• Monitor and enhance QA metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and the health of the automation framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, test design, and software testing procedures.

• Comprehensive understanding of the iOS and Android mobile app lifecycle, platform guidelines, and testing on actual devices and emulators.

• Proficient with debugging proxy tools such as Proxyman, Charles, or Fiddler.

• Experience with native log analysis utilizing ADB logcat or Xcode Console.

• Familiarity with API testing using Postman and REST/GraphQL.

• Experience in managing test data.

• Practical knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools like Jira and Allure TestOps.

• Experience with Git and version control systems.

• Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks, including Maestro or Appium.

• Basic scripting abilities in JavaScript or Python.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise.

• Experience with crash reporting tools like Sentry.

• Basic understanding of the App Store and Google Play submission processes.
