
Senior QA Engineer – Manual, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.
• Strategize, design, and implement both manual and automated test cases to verify product functionality, performance, and security.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing, ensuring coverage of positive, negative, and edge cases.
• Align test cases with business requirements and functional designs to guarantee comprehensive traceability.
• Document and report defects, validate bug fixes, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of processes, system flows, and data requirements to assess overall system behavior.
• Create and sustain automation frameworks to boost efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
• Develop automation scripts utilizing Java and Selenium WebDriver, incorporating design patterns like the Page Object Model.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and identify opportunities to enhance test execution within DevOps workflows.
• Continuously assess and suggest new technologies, tools, or processes to enhance QA effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the QA Lead, developers, and product managers to establish acceptance criteria and clarify requirements.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of the team’s quality assurance strategy and test plans.
• Aid in the transition of existing manual test cases into automated suites when suitable.
• Advocate for quality assurance best practices within the engineering team.
• Demonstrated experience in both manual and automation testing, including test case design and execution.
• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of test case management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience in identifying suitable test scenarios, including edge cases and error handling.
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience working in distributed teams across various time zones.
• Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams.
• Preferred but not mandatory: experience with security testing tools.
