Senior QA Engineer, Linux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing for web applications and backend systems;

• Develop and maintain test documentation, which includes designing test cases, assembling checklists, logging bug reports, and creating a product knowledge base;

• Perform UI/UX testing;

• Collaborate closely with the development team and engage in planning activities;

• Execute requirements testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and development needs;

• Capability to validate software requirements;

• Experience in exploratory testing;

• Skill in creating checklists and predicting system behavior;

• Knowledge of fundamental test design techniques and the ability to implement them effectively;

• Proficiency in using API testing tools;

• Competence in working with the Linux/Unix console, including knowledge of basic console utilities and their usage;

• Understanding of client-server architecture;

• Ability to write basic SQL queries (such as SELECT, DELETE, UPDATE, etc.).
