Senior QA Engineer, Hungarian Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement detailed test plans and specific test cases to guarantee comprehensive coverage of functional, technical, and business requirements.

• Assess requirements and specifications to pinpoint potential logic gaps, risks, and edge cases prior to the commencement of development.

• Conduct both manual and automated testing flexibly according to project requirements, encompassing new feature validation, bug fixes, and regression cycles.

• Create, execute, and maintain automated tests within our internal test automation framework for new developments.

• Formulate and support testing strategies for AI-driven features, including prompt evaluation, output validation, regression detection, and reliability assessments.

• Review and incorporate AI-assisted testing tools and workflows to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and the overall quality assurance process.

• Assume senior responsibility for quality by promoting QA enhancements, sharing best practices, and aiding in the development of the QA team.

• Align with development sprints to stay synchronized with technical advancements and changing priorities.

• Serve as a key collaborator between Product Owners and Developers to elucidate acceptance criteria and facilitate the resolution of obstacles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, demonstrating senior-level ownership of QA processes and quality enhancements.

• Practical experience in both manual testing and test automation, with the adaptability to utilize the appropriate method based on product and project demands.

• Familiarity with test automation tools and programming, preferably using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies.

• Experience testing AI/ML-based features or products, or a strong desire to cultivate deep expertise in this domain.

• Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered tools to assist QA activities, such as test case generation, exploratory testing, test data creation, or automation assistance.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.

• Experience with API testing and related tools like Postman.

• Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking and project management.

• Proficient in using Confluence for documentation purposes.

• Experience in writing SQL and NoSQL queries.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to assess complex systems and edge cases.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a cross-functional product engineering setting.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• A forward-thinking, inquisitive mindset with a willingness to experiment with new technologies and enhance existing workflows.

• Proven capacity to excel in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environments.
