Senior QA Engineer – E-commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct automated testing for distributed systems, microservices, and comprehensive data flows.

• Perform API testing for RESTful services and integrations with third-party applications.

• Validate asynchronous and event-driven data pipelines, along with message brokers.

• Test intricate backend processes, which include large-scale file uploads and multi-stage processing.

• Emphasize both automation and manual exploratory testing.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers by employing shift-left testing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering.

• Extensive experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or PyTest.

• Proficient in API testing utilizing REST APIs, Postman, PyTest, or similar tools.

• Experienced in automated testing for web user interfaces, APIs, and data flows.

• Practical knowledge of SQL, message queues, and event-driven architectures.

• Strong grasp of distributed systems, multi-layered applications, micro-frontend (MFE), and service-oriented architecture (SOA).

• Skilled in Python and/or JavaScript with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).

• Proven experience in testing third-party integrations and complex backend processes.

• Excellent problem-solving, test design, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
