Senior QA Engineer – E-commerce

📋 Description

• Conduct automated testing for distributed systems, microservices, and comprehensive data flows.

• Perform API testing for RESTful services and external integrations.

• Validate asynchronous and event-driven data pipelines along with message brokers.

• Test intricate backend processes, which include extensive file uploads and multi-stage processing.

• Emphasize both automation and manual exploratory testing methodologies.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers by employing shift-left testing practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering.

• Significant expertise with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or PyTest.

• Proficient in API testing utilizing REST APIs, Postman, PyTest, or comparable tools.

• Experience in automated testing for web user interfaces, APIs, and data flows.

• Practical knowledge of SQL, message queues, and event-driven architectures.

• Strong comprehension of distributed systems, multi-layered applications, Micro Frontend (MFE), and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) architectures.

• Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript with a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Experience in testing third-party integrations and complex backend processes.

• Excellent problem-solving, test design, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
