Senior QA Engineer – E-commerce

📋 Description

• Conduct automated testing for distributed systems, microservices, and comprehensive data flows.

• Perform API testing for RESTful services and integrations with third-party platforms.

• Validate asynchronous and event-driven data pipelines along with message brokers.

• Test intricate backend processes, including large-scale file uploads and multi-stage processing.

• Emphasize both automation and manual exploratory testing methodologies.

• Collaborate effectively with Software Engineers and Product Managers by applying shift-left testing strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering.

• Extensive experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or PyTest.

• Proficient in API testing utilizing REST APIs, Postman, PyTest, or comparable tools.

• Familiarity with automated testing for web user interfaces, APIs, and data flows.

• Practical experience with SQL, message queues, and event-driven architectures.

• Strong comprehension of distributed systems, multi-layered applications, Micro Frontends (MFE), and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming.

• Experience in testing third-party integrations and complex backend processes.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, test design skills, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
