Senior QA Engineer – Back End

📋 Description

• Planning, preparation, and upkeep of test cases and associated documentation.

• Conduct both manual and automated API testing utilizing Postman, Swagger, and similar tools.

• Actively participate in the release process throughout all phases.

• Collaborate with the development team by gathering information, reporting identified issues, and monitoring their resolution.

• Work alongside analysts and developers during the feature requirements analysis.

• Take initiative to enhance the efficiency of the test cycle duration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in Back-End / API testing—extensive, everyday work at the service layer, rather than incidental API coverage while performing UI testing.

• Strong familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and testing methodologies.

• Practical experience in automated testing with C#, JavaScript, or Go.

• Demonstrated success in defect identification, documentation, and tracking on the Back-End side (though not limited to it).

• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and version control systems (Bitbucket or GitHub).

• Understanding of software development methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Competence in task prioritization, effective workload management, and risk identification related to quality or timelines.

• Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to work independently.

• Proficient in English for documentation purposes, with Ukrainian/Russian for internal communication.

• Nice to Have — Experience with Web3 and non-custodial wallets.

• Basic knowledge of smart contracts and blockchain technology.
