This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Ensure product quality, reliability, and an outstanding user experience through a strategic blend of manual and automated testing.
• Design and implement thorough test cases while conducting exploratory and regression testing.
• Identify and document defects, ensuring that issues are accurately tracked and addressed.
• Develop and sustain scalable automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with development teams to maintain high standards of usability, performance, and reliability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, encompassing both manual and automation testing.
• Proven experience in defining and executing QA strategies for complex software systems.
• More than 3 years of experience with JavaScript, Typescript & NodeJS.
• At least 3 years of experience in test automation design and implementation (e.g., using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools).
• Over 3 years of experience in native mobile test automation design and implementation (e.g. Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox, AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack App Automate, Firebase Test Lab, Sauce Labs, Kobiton, Robot Framework, BitBar, LambdaTest Mobile, HeadSpin, Fastlane, Tricentis Testim or similar).
• Expertise in defining and executing test plans, automation frameworks, and quality metrics.
• Strong collaboration skills to align testing efforts with Development, DevOps, and Product Management.
• Ability to critically assess requirements for quality, ensuring clarity, testability, and completeness.
• Proven capability to identify release risks, escalate concerns, and suggest no-go decisions when quality standards or release criteria are unmet.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/Agile/Scrum practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Demonstrated experience integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.
• Proficient in QA and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestPad, Qase, TestRail, Jira, Asana, Confluence).
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
