Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and execute thorough test cases and testing scenarios.

• Create, implement, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automated testing suites.

• Ensure that software implementations align with business and functional requirements.

• Review business and technical specifications to confirm consistency, completeness, and testability.

• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects until resolution.

• Recommend enhancements to products and functionalities based on usability and quality standards.

• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to guarantee product stability and quality.

• Assist with regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to address quality issues and enhance development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and quality control, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead QA position.

• Proven proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including practical experience with automation frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability to design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites for complex software systems.

• Strong history of identifying, isolating, and documenting critical bugs and edge cases, known for meticulousness and attention to detail.

• Experience in leading and mentoring QA teams while managing quality processes in Agile or hybrid development environments.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to facilitate challenging discussions with clients and stakeholders and translate technical findings into business value.

• Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
