Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The position is responsible for automated testing across both the frontend interface and the on-chain execution layer.

• Accountable for the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test coverage that consistently verifies UI behavior, backend coordination, and on-chain state transitions.

• Design and sustain automated test suites that encompass:

• - Frontend user flows (such as wallet connection, balances, trading, and error states)

• - Backend coordination and API contracts

• - On-chain execution flows and state transitions

• Develop deterministic tests for:

• - Order submission and cancellation

• - Slippage enforcement and fee calculation

• - Transaction lifecycle (including submitted, pending, confirmed, and reverted states)

• - Balance and position reconciliation between the UI and the blockchain

• Automate regression coverage for essential trading pathways

• Validate the frontend state against the on-chain reality

• Create mocks, fixtures, and local chain environments as necessary

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Triage test failures and differentiate product bugs from test instability

• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure testability at the architectural level

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in QA engineering with a strong focus on automation

• Demonstrated experience testing complex, stateful systems

• Strong proficiency with contemporary test frameworks for:

• - Frontend automation (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)

• - API and integration testing

• Ability to create deterministic, non-flaky tests

• Strong debugging capabilities across frontend, backend, and execution layers

• Excellent written communication and meticulous documentation skills

• Experience in testing trading systems, financial platforms, or real-time systems (preferred)

• Familiarity with blockchain execution models and on-chain state (preferred)
