Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Lead the development and execution of effective automation strategies.

• Provide outstanding user experiences for players.

• Design, build, maintain, and expand sophisticated test automation frameworks utilizing modern technologies.

• Construct and refine automated test plans, cases, and suites.

• Integrate and continuously improve automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.

• Conduct thorough automated UI testing.

• Champion automated accessibility testing initiatives.

• Perform a balanced combination of automated and manual testing.

• Develop and implement structured testing strategies.

• Conduct comprehensive API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Verify UI implementations against design specifications.

• Ensure smooth functionality and performance across both desktop and mobile platforms.

• Take complete ownership of quality by identifying defects.

• Create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for automation frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of QA Engineering experience with a strong focus on automation.

• In-depth understanding of test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, etc.).

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or a scripting language (Python/Java).

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST, JSON, API mocking/stubbing).

• A solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and quality engineering principles.

• Familiarity with performance testing, visual regression testing, and accessibility tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing clean, maintainable automation code.

• A proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership.
