Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold automated testing frameworks using Playwright for both user interface and API testing.

• Create, implement, and enhance performance, load, stress, and scalability tests utilizing K6.

• Integrate automated and performance testing within CI/CD pipelines using Harness.

• Develop repeatable and parameterized testing strategies that facilitate continuous delivery.

• Analyze application performance, pinpoint bottlenecks, and offer actionable recommendations.

• Conduct data validation and backend testing leveraging SQL and database queries.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to ensure that quality and performance standards are achieved.

• Generate performance reports, metrics, and insights to support release readiness and encourage continuous improvement.

• Advocate for testing best practices, automation standards, and quality engineering initiatives across various teams.

• Mentor team members and contribute to the advancement of testing and performance engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Performance Engineering, or similar software engineering roles.

• Extensive expertise with Playwright, encompassing framework design, test automation, and API testing.

• Practical experience in designing and executing performance testing solutions using K6.

• Hands-on experience in integrating automated and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Harness.

• Proficient SQL skills and experience in conducting data validation and backend testing.

• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and automation strategies.

• Experience in Agile development environments.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English.
