Senior QA Consultant – SAP, Zuora, Finance Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive QA activities for intricate Back Office systems, workflows, integrations, and enterprise business processes.

• Formulate and implement effective testing strategies, plans, and validation methods that align with both business and technical goals.

• Ensure readiness for releases, stability in production, and high-quality delivery outcomes across various initiatives.

• Balance competing priorities between business-as-usual support and project deliverables while upholding QA standards.

• Utilize risk-based testing methodologies to efficiently prioritize testing efforts.

• Recognize quality risks, dependencies, gaps, and concerns related to releases early on, and offer actionable mitigation strategies.

• Take proactive measures during critical delivery scenarios such as ambiguous requirements, testing blockers, integration challenges, or release instability.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align on quality expectations and readiness for release.

• Serve as a reliable QA advisor, clearly communicating risks, progress, and recommendations.

• Influence decisions through expertise, data-driven insights, and effective communication.

• Exhibit strong individual contributor leadership through accountability, professionalism, and ownership.

• Mentor and assist QA engineers by providing coaching, conducting reviews, fostering collaboration, and sharing knowledge.

• Advocate for a culture of continuous learning, operational excellence, and a quality-first mindset.

• Propel the adoption of AI-driven QA solutions and intelligent automation practices throughout testing processes.

• Promote automation-first and AI-assisted testing methodologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and coverage.

• Identify avenues to minimize manual effort and streamline QA processes through automation and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of extensive experience in Quality Assurance.

• Strong practical understanding of risk-based testing methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholders at various levels.

• Hands-on experience with QA automation and the independent implementation of test strategies.

• Familiarity with contemporary QA tools, defect tracking systems, and test management platforms.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

• Experience with AI-assisted QA tools, intelligent automation, or machine learning-enabled testing solutions is highly desirable.

• Proven track record of supporting finance systems, including SAP, Zuora, and OneSource applications.

• Expertise in designing and executing test automation solutions using Worksoft.

• Strong foundation for mentoring or guiding QA team members in technical delivery and best practices.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to QA engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.

• Encourage a culture of quality-first thinking, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
