Senior QA Automation/Manual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated UI tests utilizing Playwright and TypeScript.

• Creating and sustaining backend/API automated tests with .NET, C#, REST API, and xUnit.

• Executing exploratory, regression, and functional testing across various applications and services.

• Developing and managing test cases, test scenarios, and associated testing documentation.

• Validating integrations among distributed microservices.

• Collaborating closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure product quality throughout the SDLC.

• Assisting in testing activities within AWS-based environments.

• Analyzing issues, documenting defects, and supporting troubleshooting efforts.

• Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes, standards, and automation coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing.

• Practical experience in UI test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with backend/API testing utilizing .NET, C#, REST API, and xUnit.

• Proficiency in manual testing, including exploratory testing, regression testing, and test case development.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments.

• Experience with PostgreSQL (SQL knowledge is advantageous).

• Knowledge of GIT (GitHub) and Scalar.

• Understanding of microservices-oriented architecture.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 level).

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of testing reporting and monitoring tools.

• Experience in applying GenAI in a structured manner within the SDLC, including established workflows, prompt patterns, or integrated tool usage in daily operations.

• A keen interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g., agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a readiness to explore and innovate beyond traditional methods.
