This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Test flows for SEPA credit transfers, SWIFT MT / ISO 20022 messages, and Visa card payments, including 3DS2 authentication.
• Conduct API, contract, schema, and integration testing at the microservice level, encompassing asynchronous/event-driven workflow testing across queues, retries, and dead letter queues (DLQs).
• Execute structured testing scenarios across SEPA, SWIFT, and Visa payment streams, validating the entire transaction lifecycle, reconciliation, settlement, and data integrity.
• Perform resilience testing, which includes retries, circuit breaker implementation, DLQ, failover procedures, and idempotency checks, along with performance, load, and stress testing to ensure platform reliability.
• Create, execute, and incorporate automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Generate audit-grade testing evidence and documentation for compliance with PCI DSS standards.
• Assess functional consistency and regression coverage across web, mobile, and cross-platform applications.
• Work collaboratively with developers, DevOps, and security teams to identify, monitor, and confirm the resolution of defects.
• Over 5 years of experience in QA automation, with at least 3 years in fintech, banking, or payment platforms.
• Extensive experience in API testing and microservice integration testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, or Python for automation scripting and test development.
• Practical experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on experience testing SEPA, SWIFT, and Visa card payment flows, including ISO 20022 messaging.
• Strong understanding of PCI DSS compliance controls, OWASP security principles, authentication, and encryption verification.
• Familiarity with AWS environments, including CloudWatch logging, monitoring, and observability validation.
• Solid grasp of resilience testing concepts such as retries, failover, circuit breakers, DLQ, and idempotency.
• Experience in producing structured, audit-ready QA documentation and test traceability evidence.
