Senior QA Automation Engineer – Sector Bancario

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate functionalities.

• Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Clearly and accurately document and report defects.

• Participate in defining testing strategies.

• Execute tests in environments that include complex data models.

• Develop and maintain test scripts up to date.

• Validate data quality and functionality in SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Utilize test automation tools such as Cypress, Karate, Serenity, K6, among others.

• Support the continuous improvement of testing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer.

• Experience in software test automation.

• Basic to intermediate programming skills.

• Experience in software testing, preferably in data model development environments.

• Knowledge of testing methodologies and test case design.

• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with automation tools such as Serenity, Karate, K6, Cypress, Protractor, TestCafe, Appium, among others.

• Experience in mobile application testing (iOS and/or Android) – time-sensitive priority.

• **Desirable:**

• ISTQB certification or similar.

• Knowledge of best development practices: Git, TDD, code reviews, CI/CD.

• Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools.

• Previous experience in agile environments.
