Senior QA Automation Engineer – IT Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Advanced Automation: Design and enhance UI, API, and end-to-end frameworks utilizing Playwright, Selenium, and Pytest.

• Agentic QA Leadership: Transform testing processes by employing AI-driven workflows for autonomous test creation, self-healing scripts, and insightful defect analysis.

• Strategic Manual Testing: Conduct high-value manual testing for edge cases, usability, and new features where human insight plays a crucial role.

• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated testing suites into deployment pipelines to uphold stringent quality gates and boost release confidence.

• Full-Cycle Collaboration: Ensure quality from the outset by engaging in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and design reviews.

• Bug Advocacy: Undertake comprehensive root cause analysis and work alongside developers to enhance system observability and testability.

• Quality Standards: Oversee the complete documentation process, from generating test data to reporting metrics and establishing "Definition of Done" criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Automation Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience in developing and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks from the ground up using Python (notably Pytest).

• Tooling Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Playwright and Selenium for web automation tasks.

• Manual Testing Foundation: Capability to perform thorough manual testing, including exploratory, edge case, and usability assessments.

• SDLC Integration: Background in an Agile setting (sprint planning, requirement analysis) and embedding tests into CI/CD workflows.

• Defect Management: Skilled in root cause analysis, documenting detailed bug reports, and partnering with developers to address issues.

• Testing Strategy: Demonstrated ability to identify and prioritize testing scenarios based on risk and regression significance.
