This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Formulate detailed test plans.
• Develop and run automated test scripts to ensure software quality.
• Incorporate quality assurance and testing processes within the overall software development methodology.
• Examine data, review reports over time, and create final analysis reports grounded in facts and trends.
• Utilize risk management to formulate business-oriented testing and automation strategies for designated projects and regression testing.
• Deliver and monitor testing schedules across multiple projects in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
• Elaborate and implement test cases while tracking test outcomes.
• Provide summaries of testing status and risks, while proposing and executing risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with developers to pinpoint and prioritize test automation opportunities.
• Create automated testing programs wherever feasible.
• Evaluate, monitor, and report application issues while maintaining documentation on project issues and defect metrics.
• Work together with internal and external teams regarding release and production timelines.
• Participate in automated process enhancement initiatives across consulting delivery and product development.
• Monitor project progress, clear obstacles, and assist in resource management to adhere to delivery schedules.
• Coach and guide team members.
• Exhibit leadership by understanding client requirements and addressing concerns with industry knowledge, focus, and meticulousness.
• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Over 5 years of experience in the Life & Health reinsurance sector; previous experience with substantial datasets.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, MS Access, and Excel.
• More than 5 years of practical experience in software quality assurance and product development.
• At least 5 years of experience in testing using RDBMS.
• Experience in testing multi-tiered, web-based applications.
• Solid skills in test planning, along with the ability to document test strategies, procedures, and results.
• Experience in delivering, managing, and tracking project testing schedules, either independently or while leading 1 to 2 team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of leading internal meetings, mentoring junior staff, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in driving and participating in improvements in software development/testing processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Five years of experience or an equivalent in the reinsurance industry, with at least three years at TAI.
• Familiarity with test automation tools, including Selenium and UiPath, is a plus.
• Experience with AWS and Azure environments.
• Over 5 years of experience with Visual Studio, .NET, and C# is preferred.
