Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Lead QA to refine and implement the comprehensive Test Strategy.

• Advocate for quality from the outset, leading the development of strong automated test suites.

• Initiate early discussions with Product Owners and developers to establish acceptance criteria.

• Serve as the squad's primary resource for automation best practices, code reviews, defect detection, and ensuring end-to-end data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential experience in Mobile QA & Automation.

• Mobile Automation Expert: Extensive hands-on experience in constructing mobile test suites and managing automation frameworks for iOS and Android using contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript tools (e.g., Appium, WebdriverIO, or Maestro).

• API, Backend & Network Testing: Demonstrated capability to test the APIs that drive mobile applications.

• Mobile CI/CD & Device Cloud DevOps: Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines specifically designed for mobile.

• Understanding of Asynchronous Architecture & Mobile State: Conceptual or practical knowledge of message queues such as Service Bus.

• Strategy & Leadership.

• Shift-Left Advocate: A proven history of success in agile environments.

• Test Design & Data: Expertise in converting Product Owner requirements and Acceptance Criteria into specific test conditions, edge-case scenarios, and comprehensive test data.

• Technical Consultant: In-depth understanding of both functional and non-functional testing.
