Senior QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Build, maintain, and run automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, and Pytest.

• Identify, document, and manage defects within a bug-tracking system.

• Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

• Apply best practices in testing and quality assurance.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Playwright and TypeScript for web test automation (preferred over Cypress or Selenium).

• Strong background in API testing and automation (validating JSON and XML formats using tools like Postman, Bruno, or through code).

• In-depth knowledge of automation design patterns, particularly the Page Object Model (POM).

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated tests into the deployment process.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially in Kanban environments, and a strong dedication to the Shift-Left testing approach (collaborating with developers from early stages).

• Proficiency in English is essential, as you will engage in daily interactions, meetings, and documentation entirely in English with a global team.
