Senior QA Automation Analyst, Gauge/Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, development, and execution of automated test cases utilizing technologies like Gauge and Robot.

• Conduct manual and exploratory testing.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and various stakeholders.

• Operate within an agile framework, adhering to best practices of continuous integration and continuous delivery.

• Establish the quality strategy by evaluating quality risks and product requirements.

• Assess quality and pinpoint opportunities for process and tool enhancements.

• Examine requirements and user stories, develop test plans, and create manual test cases.

• Develop and sustain automated test scripts.

• Oversee and manage various testing suites.

• Execute both automated and manual test cases while documenting results and defects.

• Conduct functional, regression, performance, security, mobile, and accessibility testing.

• Actively participate in daily stand-ups and scrum ceremonies.

• Offer constructive feedback and recommendations to development and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in roles such as quality analyst, tester, or a comparable position.

• Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks, particularly Gauge.

• Familiarity with programming languages including Java, C#, Python, etc.

• Experience in implementing the Page Object Model pattern.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Proficient in version control systems, including Git, SVN, etc.

• Familiar with test management tools like Jira, Zephyr, Xray, etc.

• Skilled in SQL queries.

• Experience with API Testing.

• Familiarity with CI tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.

• Experience in Accessibility Testing.

• Experience in Load Testing and script development using K6 or similar tools.

• Proficient in Mobile Testing, utilizing device emulator services integrated with automated test cases.

• Experienced in automating API Testing with tools like Postman or similar.

• Knowledgeable in penetration testing using tools such as ZAP Tool and/or Burp Suite.
