Senior QA Analyst – Project Hire

📋 Description

• Support the leadership of the QA team in the development of a AAA game.

• Create and implement test plans for various features and workflows.

• Collaborate with outsourced QA to carry out testing for features and workflows, utilizing both test plans and ad-hoc strategies.

• Generate reports to inform the studio about the testing status.

• Maintain regular communication with content creators, engineers, production staff, and QA leadership.

• Create JIRAs to address any identified quality issues within the game.

• Assist in managing JIRAs and validating those submitted by outsourced QA.

• Aid QA leadership in establishing QA processes.

• Draft and update necessary documentation.

• Participate in meetings to keep the QA team informed about specific aspects of the game.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully shipped at least one game in a QA role.

• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent Quality Assurance experience.

• Expertise in technical art with a solid understanding of the engineering behind graphical issues.

• Experience in performance testing, including tools like Unreal Insights, telemetry capture, and multi-platform stress testing.

• Proven experience as a people leader.

• Background in developing and executing test plans based on project objectives.

• Experience collaborating with offsite testing teams.

• Proficiency with Unreal Engine.

• (Bonus) Experience working with an outsourced team.

• (Bonus) Familiarity with JIRA and Testmo or other test case repository tools.
