Senior QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily QA activities related to submissions from the Engineering Team.

• Accountable for testing products to ensure the software operates smoothly and meets client requirements in both functionality and scalability.

• Develop, implement, and manage processes to confirm that products adhere to necessary quality, functionality, and reliability specifications before delivery.

• Communicate quality standards and parameters to both the QA and development teams.

• Coordinate the product testing processes effectively.

• Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, especially when they occur across multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions for these challenges.

• Review feedback from clients, customers, and users.

• Collaborate with management to communicate releases to the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field, along with relevant work experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of pertinent QA/testing automation experience.

• Familiarity with business software systems and user management.

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Strong team-oriented mindset.

• Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize various projects effectively.

• Creativity and a strong willingness to learn new techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical approach.

• Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities, both verbal and written.

• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and workflows, including utilizing LLMs to generate test cases, analyze logs, and identify edge cases.

• Proficient with test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and Cypress for comprehensive browser-based testing.

• Working knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks for validating service-layer behavior.

• Familiarity with AI-powered QA platforms such as Testim, Mabl, or Functionize that leverage machine learning to create and maintain automated tests.

• Understanding of CI/CD integration for automated test pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

• Ability to assess and adopt emerging AI tools that enhance test coverage, minimize manual effort, and accelerate feedback cycles.

• Comfortable working alongside AI-generated code and validating its accuracy through structured testing strategies.

• Awareness of responsible AI usage in testing, including the basics of prompt engineering and comprehension of model limitations.
