Senior Python Engineer – Databricks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain scalable back-end services.

• Design and construct the architecture for AI systems, creating robust agentic workflows, MCP servers, and scalable integrations between LLMs and our backend infrastructure.

• Ensure smooth integration with front-end applications and external services through well-structured RESTful APIs.

• Utilize cloud infrastructure (Azure Functions, Azure Storage) for hosting and scaling applications.

• Implement security best practices for API authentication (OAuth, JWT) and data protection.

• Potentially work on GenAI-driven applications by leveraging AI APIs.

• Containerize applications using Docker for effective environment management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for back-end development.

• Experience with FastAPI or Flask for creating scalable RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with AI integrations such as OpenAI, HuggingFace, or similar AI APIs.

• Practical experience with Databricks.

• Capability to work with large datasets, including data cleaning, transformation, and manipulation.

• Cloud Services: Practical experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines, preferably on Azure.

• Asynchronous Programming: Understanding of async patterns to enhance performance.

• Containerization: Familiarity with Docker for application deployment.

• Security Best Practices: Knowledge of API authentication methods like OAuth and JWT.

• Ability to engage in discussions and lead technical conversations.
