Senior Python Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Assist the Enterprise Integrations team in overseeing and executing integration processes from design through to deployment.

• Gather and define requirements from internal stakeholders, assess task complexity, and schedule delivery timelines.

• Create and implement dependable, scalable integration solutions utilizing Python, REST, gRPC, Apache Kafka, Redis, and SQL.

• Perform regular code reviews and uphold a consistent, high-quality codebase.

• Adhere strictly to delivery deadlines, ensuring both production readiness and technical excellence.

• Monitor and stabilize integrations after deployment using observability tools such as Grafana.

• Proactively identify and resolve obstacles to sustain project momentum, showcasing a proactive "get things done" mentality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on backend development experience.

• Strong technical skills including Python (FastAPI), REST, gRPC, SQL, Apache Kafka, Redis, and Postman.

• Experience in designing and implementing robust, scalable integration solutions with external partners and service providers.

• Background as a backend engineer with a solid understanding of event-driven and asynchronous architectures.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools such as YouTrack and Grafana.

• Proven skills in stakeholder management and scope control.

• Strong communication, prioritization, and time-management skills, consistently delivering results under tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level (both written and spoken).
