Senior Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tunisia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python applications, modules, and scripts while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

• Create clean, maintainable, and reusable code to ensure scalable solutions.

• Collaborate with front-end developers and system architects to produce robust, efficient, and secure backend functionality.

• Design, optimize, and manage SQL or NoSQL data models.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with external services and systems.

• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.

• Write unit tests and engage in code reviews.

• Ensure high-quality deliverables through comprehensive testing procedures.

• Remain updated with Python technologies, libraries, and frameworks to foster innovation and enhance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python.

• Experience with at least one web framework (such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).

• Cloud technology certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or Terraform certification is highly preferred.

• Proven expertise in containerization using Docker.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes is an advantage.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket).

• Solid understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases (like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.).

• Proficiency in Linux environments, including scripting and system configuration.

• Strong expertise in Git.

• Understanding of scalable application design principles and threading/multi-processing architecture in Python.
