Senior Python Developer, API

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development of backend services and APIs that link the user-facing platform with lower-level infrastructure services and automation elements.

• Assist in enhancing existing Python APIs, introduce new platform features, and optimize RBAC and multi-tenancy functionalities.

• Facilitate integrations with infrastructure services.

• Collaborate within a diverse engineering team, contributing to both the creation of new features and the enhancement of code quality, maintainability, documentation, and delivery standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven commercial experience in Python backend development.

• Proficiency in creating REST APIs and backend services.

• Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems.

• Experience with authentication, authorization, and RBAC principles.

• Hands-on knowledge of Git, code reviews, CI/CD processes, and automated testing.

• Capability to work with existing codebases and implement incremental improvements.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical stakeholders.

• Senior-level mindset, demonstrating ownership and the ability to grasp both technical and business contexts.

• Experience in infrastructure, cloud, hosting, data center, or platform engineering projects (additional skills).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized services.

• Knowledge of source-of-truth tools such as Nautobot, NetBox, or similar systems.

• Experience with multi-tenant platforms or self-service portals.

• Understanding of infrastructure automation, server provisioning, or lifecycle management.

• Basic awareness of frontend technologies, particularly React.
