Senior Python Backend Engineer, EU international client

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Designing and developing scalable backend services for AI RAG systems.

• Creating and managing APIs based on FastAPI.

• Establishing and refining CI/CD pipelines.

• Contributing to strategies for vector storage and chunking.

• Ensuring reliability, conducting testing, and preparing for production deployment.

• Actively enhancing backend architecture and infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree.

• Proficient in English (C1) (Mandatory).

• Advanced experience in Python backend development beyond data-centric applications.

• At least two years of experience in developing APIs using FastAPI.

• Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and containerized distributed deployments.

• Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure, including IAM, databases, computing resources, and networking.

• Practical experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.

• Strong testing methodologies at unit, integration, and performance levels.

• Familiarity with generative AI and LLM integration, particularly with RAG systems.

• Knowledge of AWS production environments and optimization for distributed system performance.

• Understanding of cloud and API security best practices.
